Melbourne Waters Frog Cencus Launch
Friday the 2nd of October You are invited to take part in the annual Spring Launch of Melbourne Water’s Frog Census. This event is held with the kind support of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Cranbourne. The event aims to thank past participants in Melbourne Water’s Frog Census and encourage new participants to take part in the Census. As home to several species of frog, the Gardens are the perfect venue for this event. The launch will take place in the Gallery Room of the Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne on Friday the 2nd of October. Training in frog identification and recording will begin the event at 10am with interactive children’s activities, river health displays and live animals and frogs to follow. Morning tea will be provided, and following this, participants will be encouraged to experience the gardens, and have the option of attending a guided Wild Flower walk (numbers limited).
